When will the tightness and numbness go away after my Genioplasty?

Hello, I got Genioplasty on the 27december 2013 and today is 6 January 2014, as most of the swelling is gone, there still remains a lot of swelling in chin area. At the moment my chin feels very tight and numb, when i smile, you can see its not a normal smile, kind of a Botox look to it. When will this tightness and numbness go away? It is scaring me, my consultant never told me about this.

Be patient as it will take several months (3-6) for the swelling and sensory changes to go away.
