But, in general, I am amazed that you have gone the way of the expensive "bells and whistles" fraxel laser gizmos and made no mention of ever having been treated by what is considered first line treatment for hypertrophic scars, namely intralesional triamcinolone injections in varying concentrations and amounts depending upon the scar size, depth, etc. Instead, you mention only the fraxel laser devices about which I have been cautioning my regular followers for years now that they are heavily hawked out there, but backed far more by marketing hype and social media buzz than hard science, which may explain your lack or success and frustration with these gizmos. You would be wise to consult an experienced, board certified dermatologisst scar specialist. Hope this helps.
