Labret piercing left indentation. Is there any way I can get rid of it?

I'm not sure if this is the right surgery for it, but I have an indentation on my face from my labret piercing I had for years. It embarrasses me and I am wanting to know if there is any way I can get rid of it. If I can about how much would it cost and what surgery should it go under?

Labret piercings may be treated with a small surgical excision of the indentation or TCA cross, which is the application of an acidic peel solution applied to the indendation in an attempt to scar it from the inside out.  While both procedures would leave a mark, the aim of them is to leave a flat contour in place of the piercing indentation.  Both procedures can be comfortably performed with local anesthetic or injectable numbing medicine, without the need for sedation or general anesthesia.  Consider seeing a Plastic Surgeon, Dermatologist, or Facial Plastic Surgeon to have a more thorough discussion of treatment options.  Good luck!
