Can a year of hair-loss due to vitamin D deficiency be reversed?

Spoke to my dermatologist about my hair-loss and apparently it's all to do with a lack of vitamin D. Can a year of hair loss due to vitamin D deficiency be fully reversed or is it too late?

I do not know the answer because we cant say clearly that vitamin D may cause hair loss. you would better to take supplements fot vit D but I think causative factors for hair loss may be other than vit D depletion and better to have an examination of hair loss expert .

To date, there is no good evidence in the medical literature to support the notion that low serum vitamin D causes hair loss in most people. Low vitamin D is epidemic in terms of the number of individuals affected - including those who are not experiencing hair loss.While it remains possible that some indirect role of vitamin D may be present and while it remains possible that low vitamin D could affect response to treatment this is entirely speculative. There is, at present, no convincing evidence to link vitamin d and hair loss for most people with androgenetic type hair loss.
