Herring's law or case of overcorrection? (Photos)

I had ptosis surgery on my left eye 15 days ago. I thought it was healing nicely when yesterday I noticed my left eye looked much larger than my right. I have been reading about Herring's law so not sure if that is what is happening or my left eye has been overcorrected. I don't know what my options are -- can massage be applied. I am feeling nervous as I feel like my eyes look freaky. I am seeing my surgeon in 4 days so can massage still be applied and useful 19 days after surgery?
