Can I pat clean my brows after 3rd day of microblading with sterile water? Getting flaky skin on eyebrows. (photos)

I'm on day 3 in a couple hours of my microblading and shading. I know we're not suppose to try to touch the brows but I know my skin and eyebrows will start to get dandruff and dry skin and I'm starting to see patches of it because my brows are so oily from not washing them. I didn't want them to get worse so I took a little sterile water with a cotton ball and patted. Is this ok? Im getting mixed info that it's ok and some that say it's not ok to clean the brows even just a little. Please help!

Great question. All of these methods can lighten the microblading but some are more invasive and require downtime. If you choose laser removal, your eyebrows will be shaved off and depending on the patient the hair does not always grow back the same. You will not be able to apply makeup to...

Hi TrishNguy712,Microbladed brows are thicker and darker after microblading. They'll get even darker as they dry and scab off. 30% -50% will be lost in the next few days. In the meantime, don't try to pick the scabs. All the best, Justin Harper, M.D.
