Swelling , some advices:

Thank you very much for enquire.

Swelling after a rhinoplasty depends of the surgery complexity.
In this regard, the nasal swelling Post-op It can last from two weeks to two months.
To reduce this swelling, I recommend you perform delicates daily lymphatic drainage massage therapy over the face (around the nose) avoid sun exposure, and take pain/inflamation pills, as your surgeron precribe you.
Kind regards,

Rhinovirus after Rhinoplasty

Catching a cold 2.5 months after undergoing rhinoplasty can certainly aggravate swelling. But I would not worry- in 3 to 4 days you should feel better and youll get back on your normal healing path. At this point in the healing process, there is typically no restriction on taking any cold medicines, so these can help too. Check with your surgeon. Good luck! -Randolph Capone, MD, FACS

Rhinoplasty and cold

A cold will definitely augment your swelling as you heal. It is hard to predict how long that swelling will last, but I imagine it will be there as longer as the cold is around.
