Depending on the patient's anatomy, liposuction may need to be performed in the front and back of the medial or inner thighs. At times, changing the position of the patients thighs during surgery is all that needs to be done to achieve contouring.
Liposuction of the medial thigh would include only the inner aspect of the thigh. Many patients also have other areas of the thigh addressed at the same time, but it is not included under the heading you mentioned.
