Hello doctors.My name is Farzona and i got prk eye surgery 5 days ago.I live in florida.How many days or weeks i don't have to go out to the sun and wind basically?Is sun and wind can cause a great damage to my eyes after prk surgery?

Sunlight (UV) exposure after PRK can
lead to corneal haze.  It would be
fine to go outside in the sun, but I’d recommend you wear UV-protecting
sunglasses for at least 3-6 months. 
Additionally, there is evidence vitamin C can help reduce the risk of UV
associated corneal haze post PRK.

Wind is not known to adversely
affect the outcome of PRK surgery.
