I got an implant in my front top tooth about 6 months ago. How long should my gums be bruised after?

I got an implant in my front top tooth about 6 months ago & the bruising still hasn’t gone away. No pain or swelling or anything just a purplish discoloration & it effects my smile I was wondering if this is normal & how long should I except this to last for?
