I've been considering everything from non-invasive (but temporary) Velasoft and Thermage to more invasive (but permanent) Smart Lipo and Vaser Lipo. Relatively speaking, my problem areas are not that bad, but I'm afraid I'll make my not-so-bad situation (both shape & cellulite) worse if I choose a more invasive treatment. Biggest concerns - flatness and sag ("butt under the butt" look). I know there is little you can do about cellulite and have realistic expectations.

Cellfina/Cellulite Treatment/Ultherapy/Thermi RF/Body Contouring/ Hi Definition Procedures
Thank you for your question.
Cellfina is an FDA approved minimally invasive procedure that reduces the appearance of cellulite for at least two years on the buttocks and back of the thighs of women.
It works by releasing the internal bands that cause the cellulite dimpling and so we have not seen any fat atrophy. I recommend Cellfina in combination with Sculptra or renuva for optimal results. You should not see much of a difference with weight gain or loss but this also has not been studied.
Other areas of the body with dimpling, it is important to make sure it is truly cellulite before treatment.
It is common to have swelling bruising and firmness after the procedure. This can last for a few weeks.
It is different than Cellulaze which is a laser.
If you have had previous poor results with cellulaze, you can still do Cellfina.
Cellfina has shown 100% noticeable improvement and 96% satisfaction in all patients at 2 years.
Cellfina is designed to be a one time procedure.
It can be used on women with all skin types but caution should be taken if theres a history of keloiding.
It can also be combined with other treatments such as Thermi or
Ulthera if skin tightening is needed.
We have done Sculpsure and Coolsculpting if fat reduction is wanted, but its best to wait 3 months to see the results before proceeding.
It can also be done at the same time as other procedures such as liposuction and BBL or as a stand alone procedure in the office.
Since Cellfina outcomes can be based on technique and experience, please see a board certified plastic surgeon that specializes body contouring to see if Cellfina or other treatments are available to meet your goals.

The Most Effective Treatments for Cellulite
Approximately, 85% of all women are affected by bumpy, dimpled, unappealing cellulite. As #cellulite is caused by fibrous bands underneath the skin that compress #fat, #diet and exercise do little to help the appearance of this condition. Clinical treatments offer the most effective and longest lasting results. We can now offer improvements that should last at least 2-3 years. My office also recommends three different procedures: ThermiSmooth, VelaShape 3, and Cellfina.
ThermiSmooth is a #noninvasive treatment that uses very controlled #radio frequencies that deep heat target tissues and stimulate #collagen growth, improving the appearance of cellulite. A series of three to six treatments are needed for the best results. #Thermismooth may also be used to treat fine lines or wrinkles.
Also, VelaShape 3 is a non-invasive treatment combining #massage rollers, a vacuum to elevate the target# tissue, infrared lights to heat the target tissue, and bi-polar radio frequencies which guide the heat; all together helping to reduce the appearance of cellulite. I suggest over six sessions, one week apart. The combination of these technologies causes the connective tissue under the skin to heat up, stimulating collagen growth, #improving cellulite and skin elasticity. #VelaShape 3 may also be used for eliminating fat cells around the stomach and thighs.
Cellfina is the newest FDA approved treatment for cellulite. Unlike the others, #Cellfina it is a one-time, minimally invasive procedure in which a safe, small needle-like tool is inserted to the target tissue to break apart the excessive fibrous connective tissue that causes cellulite. There is minimum #downtime and the amazing results from one treatment last at least two years, longer than any other cellulite treatment. Seek more information to learn if you are candidate for these #treatment #options by consulting in-person with a board-certified Plastic Surgeon.
- Hello. You sound like a potentially good candidate for Cellulaze. It is without question the most effective treatment for cellulite, but happy patients are those with realistic expectations on what a procedure will and won't do. Cellulaze is not a cure or perfect treatment by any means. It will definitely improve on cellulite - mild cellulite is probably easier to improve upon than severe cellulite. Look at a lot of before and after photos to get a realistic idea of what the procedure can do for you. It is a one time treatment which is a plus but remember regardless of what anyone tells you there are no guarantees in results with cosmetic surgery. Results with Cellulaze will definitely depend on the skill and understanding of the technology of the physician so do your homework and find a board certified plastic surgeon with an expertise in Cellulaze in your area. Good luck!

Cellulaze for cellulite
If you truly have cellulite, the cellulaze may be a good option for you. Cellulaze uses a laser under the skin to attack the anatomic causes of cellulite. It is a minimally invasive procedure that takes 1-2 hours and can be safely done under local or just IV sedation. It is an FDA approved treatment for cellulite and requires only one treatment. Hope this is helpful.

Cellulaze will not only smooth out the skin it will also help to tighten the skin as well. The cellulaze method promotes skin thickening and tightening resulting in tighter, smoother skin.
Cellulaze Best for Cellulite Reduction
Butt saggy and cellulite
For the lower buttock area you might want to consider Smart Lipo, as it can tighten the skin as well as remove the fat from this area. If there is still persistent cellulite, then I would recommend Cellulaze for the treatment of it. It is the only FDA-approved one time minimally invasive treatment for cellulite. Talk to a board-certified plastic surgeon that has experience with the procedure to find out more information. Good luck!

Consider Cellulaze for Cellulite
Cellulaze is a FDA approved one time treatment that utilizes a 1440 nm wavelength laser to accomplish 3 things: 1) melt away fat bulging out 2) break up fibrous septae (attachments) that create the indentations and 3) help thicken the dermis (skin) to prevent future recurrence. The procedure can take between 60-90 minutes and can be completed under local or just IV sedation (depending on the length of your procedure and number of areas being treated). To see your final results takes between 3-6 months. You can visit the cellulaze . com website to learn more about the procedure and find a plastic surgeon who performs the procedure near you. Best of luck!
Subtle changes in the posterior thigh
I agree that invasive procedures may cause more of a concerning appearance and you may wish to consider Velashape or Endermologie, which do require maintenance treatments as they are not a cure but certainly safer than invasive procedures.
