Is it normal for the doctors to tell you to make out the words when doing an eye exam?
I recently had PRK September 6th 2016. My vision was 4.75 in the right and a 4.50 in the left. Now my vision it's very blurry I cannot read within arm's length of me nor do I feel comfortable driving. However I have had to optometrist tell me this is normal and that if I can make out the words not read them but sit there take my time and make them out that I am able to see what I can try to make out. I asked while driving I don't have time to make out words they said this is normal.
