Can I get laser hair removal and tattoo removal done by different lasers?

Hi! When starting the process of laser hair removal and tattoo removal is it ok to get it done by different lasers ? Or should you stick to one? I’m traveling for work, and sometimes there is a good deal. Is to switch every 2-3 treatments? Thank you

Laser hair removal and tattoo removal should be performed by two different lasers.  It is a faster frequency q switch yag laser that can be used to remove tattoos whereas a yag or alex laser beam can be used for laser hair removal.  You will need two different lasers to accomplish these two different tasks

Good question.I would recommend 2 different laser types for these two very different proceduresLight energy hair removal is best preformed with either IPL or crystal diode lasers. There are many brands and different reviews for each type.Yag lasers are more commonly used for tattoo removal with varying success.Research (2001) found that the red-brown, dark-brown, and orange pigment responded best the to Nd:YAG laser, whereas the alexandrite laser was most effective for removing blue and green pigment, and the Q-switched ruby laser was most effective for removing purple and violet pigment.This can be confusing so do diligence with the provider your working with for best results. Don't expect the same laser and frequencies to perform all your removal desires.Hope that helps
