How should I fix darkening skin after possible scarring from glycolic acid face wash

I use PTR 3%, twice daily. I'm using Neutrogena Ultra Sheer 55 spf, but switching to Biore. I'm gonna start wearing a sun hat too. I usually stay indoors, but wonder if I'm getting exposure though the windows. So would the scarring/browning heal if I don't scrub the face, not even with wash cloths, if I don't use serums or retinol? Would witch hazel be okay? Do I neutralize the acid with baking soda and water and not leave the acid on longer than a minute and just use moisturizer (CeraVe) after?

I would suggest starting with Melarase AM and Melarase PM creams followed by light chemical peels and Melapads. Best, Dr. KaramanoukianLos Angeles

I suggest a consultation for hyperpigmentation with an expert. Skin care and low level lasers will be needed to improve the results.  Dr. Emer.
