Relationship of medial canthi with nasal dorsum

While your eyes will appear slightly closer together and wider with medial epicanthoplasty, it will not alter the appearance of your dorsum.  However, augmenting or building up the bridge of your nose will also cause your eyes to appear closer together.

Epicanthoplasty and Rhinoplasty

Performing an epicanthoplasty will have no effect on the bridge of the nose.  The eyes and nose are 2 separate anatomical features

Medial Epicanthal Folds and Nose Bridge

1. Performing medial epicanthoplasty would decrease the distance between two eyes somewhat but it will have minimal or no effect on the aesthetics of the nose bridge.

Relationship between nose bridge and epicanthoplasty

There is not much relationship between the two. The inner corner of the eye will not be pulled sufficiently with a bridge to the nose, because the distance between the two is too great to have any effect.

If you have an epicanthoplasty followed by a nasal bridge, the distance between the two eyes will be altered. The two eyes will look closer together, which is good or bad, depending on your anatomy.
