I have a custom PEEK jaw implant , it looks amazing and the surgeon did a great job. It is screwed in on both sides. But I noticed that if i run my finger along my mandible there's a little bump maybe 2-3mm. You can barely see it so I dont mind, but im worried if this increases the risk of infection or shifting of the implant. my surgeon says its not necessary to fix it as long as im happy with the look which i am. i want to make sure in 50 yrs implant hasnt shifted or infected
