Hard lump on forehead since childhood; am I a candidate for removal? (photos)

Question

I have a hard lump on the left side of my forhead that has been there ever since I was a child my parents have said it was there as a result of me allways falling over and hitting the left side of the forhead all the time it is a solid bone mass that does not move and does not hurt it has not got any bigger in shape or size it has always has stayed the same I want to know what does could be and if possible if it could be removed I will attach some pictures of my CT scan Can anyone help Thank you

Your parents were correct in that trauma to the forehead/skull at a young age can be a nidus for bone formation. This results in a bone formation response which is as you have described it and can be seen in the lateral skull film. (the limited CT scan slices do to show the involved area) Such forehead bony protrusions can be removed. It would be helpful to see actual pictures of the mass to provide more details.
