Your recessed chin is more of a problem than just aesthetic. The recessed chin is also causing your TMJ problems and could also be causing sleep breathing problems.
The DNA appliance alone would probably not correct your recessed chin (retruded lower jaw). The mRNA would be more predictable....
There are subtle design differences between the two appliances but both are effective to develop dental arches (orthopedic development). These are not the only two arch development appliances either. There are many effective arch development appliances that work well in the right hands.
