I had my braces off a week ago and my teeth are starting to move.

Will my teeth move back once my retainer comes? I am still waiting for it

Shifting Teeth

Since your teeth are free from the braces they are prone to shift, which is why retainers are absolutely necessary after orthodontic treatment.  If only minor tooth movement has occurred, then your retainers should be able to position your teeth back into alignment.

Teeth moving after braces

If the shifting is minor, the retainer may move the teeth back in place since the teeth are not quite stable yet.  Contact your doctor's office to make sure the retainers are  on the way.  Hope this helps.
