Why Did my Doctor Use the Z-plasty Approach for Vestibular Stenosis Instead of a Spreader Graft?

Why Did my Doctor Use the Z-plasty Approach for Vestibular Stenosis Instead of a Spreader Graft? I was approved for surgery using codes 30465, eg spreader grafts, 30520 & 30140. I had pre-op and mo mention of a zplasty was ever discussed. I specifically requested spreader grafting. I don't know what happened, but he changes his mind while I was under general anesthesia... And did a Z-plasty instead! I have a external valve collapse that he said has nothing to do with my internal valve. I had a weak alar rim with notching prior to surgery on the operated nostril already. Why did he "not" do the spreader graft which I need for structural support? My right nostril seems to be thickening & flaring more, while the operated side alar rim is flaccid & notching. He said my airway is opened beautifully & that's all he had to do & he also said he can adapt during surgery without consent. My nose looks worse? Why did he say he would do it & charge me so much money yet, not do a spreader graft? He told me to wait a year yet, hes released from post op. What can I do to get what I paid for? I feel I could have went with another surgeon & I was ripped off. My consent forms say it was elective & I might not get results
