Can I use store bought temporary cement to put my implant crown back on?

Quite often, the materials purchased at a store as a temporary crown cement is the same or very similar to what is used in a dental office.  You should be fine if you follow the directions included in the packaging very carefully.  The dentist may even leave everything "as is" when they see you.Don't skip seeing the dentist if the cement seems to hold, there may be other things going on, but you should be fine in the meantime.

If you follow the directions on the temporary cement it should be fine until you can see your dentist.  I would try on the crown, though, before cementing it to make sure it will go on properly as sometimes the crown may be damaged.
