Thank you for your question.  We typically see results with much smaller volumes/doses of injections in the hands.  Typically it requires about 25 units per hand to see relief from sweaty palms for a total of 50 units both hands (1/2 vial).  This is about the same amount of units that is typically used for the classic 3 areas of botox on the face.  Prices will vary depending upon area of the country you are in, but you should expect to pay around $750.  Please follow up with a board certified Dermatologist for proper evaluation and management.  Regards, Dr. Matt Elias

I am assuming that you are seeking hyperhidrosis treatment for your hands.  For this procedure we charge the patient $950 but we are willing to try to bill your insurance and will refund any amount we receive from insurance.  Most insurance companies are very difficult to deal with on this issue but we would analyze this prior to treatment.  Thank you for your interest. Thank you for your question.  Some practices charge Botox by the area of the body treated while others charge by the units of botox used.  If being performed to treat excessive sweating of the hands, you can anticipate using 50-100 Units per palm with costs ranging from 10-15 dollars per unit.  Hope that this helps.

Botox for excessive sweating

Thank you for your question Bsjacobs. Botox is a purified protein used to address wrinkles associated with facial expression. It can also be used for excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) on the underarms, palms, and soles. Typically 50 units are used per side, for a total of 100 units. Most people enjoy the results in these areas for longer than they do on the face, 3-6 months as compared to 3-4 months. With more treatments the treatment will last longer. Pricing varies from region to region and from office to office. Good luck!

Botox for hands generally takes two vials and is extremely painful.  It is very effective to relieve sweating but I would urge you to find an expert and numb topically for one hour before the injections.  Best, Dr. Green

The fees for Botox will vary according to the physician administering the product, geographical location of course and experience. Normally Botox should vary between $10 and $15. I would advise to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon for Botox injections. Please note there is also a product called Dysport available that delivers get results as well. Regards,
