I'm 41F, 5'5, and 145 lbs. I'm interested in CoolSculpting/Coolsculpting Elite, and have a couple questions: 1) is there a time of month where it is more or less effective? Can the procedure be performed when I am experiencing bloating just before my period? 2) I've seen several photos of the "stick of butter" effect with the frozen fat just after coolscuplting. Does that happen with Elite, also? If you dont experience it, does it mean the fat didn't freeze?

CoolSculpting can be used after liposuction to help reduce any leftover areas of stubborn fat. I would recommend reaching out to your plastic surgeon and asking if you're cleared to have the treatment done if you had the liposuction within the past year.
It is not uncommon for patients to need at least 2-3 treatment sessions of CoolSculpting to see the best results. I would recommend scheduling a follow-up with your provider to address your concerns and be evaluated for a secondary treatment to the area.
Without seeing pictures or having an in-person exam it is hard to tell for sure but it sounds like you would be a good CoolSculpting candidate. This treatment works well for patients who are already at their goal weight and want to target those last few stubborn areas of fat.
