Getting another tattoo after laser tattoo removal reaction.

I had an allergic reaction after laser tattoo treatment of red ink two times. I hace stoppedaser treatment as of now. Am I still able to get another tattoo in another color (black) without any reactions?

I suggest seeing a physician i wouldnt suggest having laser done again if you have allergic reaction the first time.  Best, Dr. Emer.

What kind of allergic reaction did you have? Any ink can potentially illicit an allergic reaction as once you start treating the tattoo, you are breaking up the ink. But this is not common.  Having performed thousands of treatments, I have yet to see an allergic reaction.  Black ink should not be a problem.  But it is common to have crusting, scabbing, sometimes blistering and itching following laser tattoo removal. Rarely, you can have a systemic reaction when the ink is broken down by the laser.
