Juvederm Scarring

Juvederm can be reversed with an enzyme called hyaluronidase.  I suggest you see a cosmetic dermatologist with experience.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Juvederm is safe and efficacious as a volume filler

Thank you for your question.

Uneven filler can be corrected with additional product.

Juvederm is injected under the skin with cannulas or needle and should not cause dermal breakdown.

Please post a photo to help answer this question.  There should be no permanent scars from Juvederm injections.  It is a temporary hyaluronic acid product and should not cause any scars.  Please consult an expert.  Best, Dr. Green

How do you get rid of Juvederm scars?

Hello Evelyn Sharif,

Without any photos or further information, there is no real way to address your question.  Juvederm is made of hyaluronic acid which is a natural product in the body.  It is injected with very fine needles below the skin.  Therefore, Juvederm should not be causing any scarring.  If you have uneveness from your injection you can receive more product.  If you have lumpiness from your injection you can inject hyaluronidase to remove the product.

I hope this helps and good luck.
