How long after vaginal delivery do I have to wait to have the gastric sleeve surgery?

I will be having my second baby in December and would like to go ahead with the surgery after she is born. How long do I have to wait?

How soon can you have the sleeve after giving birth?

Four to six weeks should be enough.  If you are breast feeding, you may need to store milk since some of the meds used may cross into breast milk.  Discuss it with your bariatric surgeon.
