I'm a small person, age 20, 5', 110lb. My bra size is literally smaller than a AA. I don't want to be big, I just want something.A little pad, maybe a bit of cleavage.I dance and am active and don't want big jugs in my way, but I am tired of looking like a boy.A cup implants or a small B? Or some other procedure? It seems like everyone talks like C cup is the bare minimum but I cannot see myself with those. I'd like to avoid surgery altogether; even wonder if I might still grow a bit. Best option?

Answer: Get A cup implants for AA bra? Hello! Thank you for your question. In general, implant size does not correlate with bra cup size. The cup size itself will vary from manufacturer to manufacturer as well as who is doing the actual measurements. Thus, cup size is never a reliable indicator for your breast size. I typically encourage my patients not to communicate her desires in cup size but more on the actual look and appearance. Your options would certainly be breast augmentation with implants or fat grafting. Good communication between you and your surgeon of your expectations is warranted - choosing your surgeon wisely is the first step. Discussion of your wishes and having an honest and open dialog of your procedure is mandatory (e.g, implant type, incision, placement, lift, etc). I have found that photographs brought by the patient is helpful to get a visualization of the appearance you wish for in terms of size, shape, fullness, etc. In addition, your surgeon's pre and postoperative photographs should demonstrate a realistic goal for you. Once this has been accomplished, allow your surgeon to utilize his/her best medical judgment during the procedure to finesse the best possible result for you after preoperative biodimensional planning and fitting the right implant for your breast width. Hope me that this helps! Best wishes for a wonderful result!

Answer: Breast implants to fit you
From your description you sound like a very petite woman with limited breast tissue. I believe that using a small implant could get you the results you are looking for. Going from a AA to a A is not a very big difference. Consider the difference in one cup size. If you are mostly happy with your breast size, then consider the pros and cons of having surgery. Breast implants will make a substantial difference, one most women welcome. Talk with your surgeon about your expected results and ask his opinion. You are your surgeon are the only ones who can know for sure what size implant will achieve the look your going for.

Answer: Using small implants
Breast implants come in a range of sizes with the smallest implants being 125cc for saline and 100cc for silicone. Whether you will remain an a cup depends on your body size and amount of existing breast tissue. But the real question is "do you really want to stay only an A cup". Usually at least a B cup is required to give you a little fullness to hold up your tops.

Answer: Non-surgical breast augmentation, enhancement, enlargement without implants
Yes, there is no doubt that some weight gain may produce a subtle increase in breast size. Your options for a small increase in breast size using a non-surgical approach include the possibility of a small increase with weight gain and/or hormone therapy with oral contraceptives and/or BRAVA device and/or fat grafting.
