How do I know if I'm being quoted a fair price for CLEAR CONNECT?

I was quoted $5500 ("discounted" from 6250) for 4 months of treatment to move anterior front and bottom teeth. How does one compare? Can another dentist give an accurate quote by contacting the company or are the molds and treatment proprietary to the dentist who sent them in?
