Is Venus Versa a good option for laser hair removal for me? Is it painless? (photos)

What will be good options for laser hair removal? I have medium skin, dark hair. Going to see a derm tomorrow. They offer Venus Versa for laser hair treatment. Is this a good option? What are typical costs? Is there a difference between using a cert technician and a derm MD? I want to make sure I am doing the right thing because I am saving up for this and can't afford going back to other options. Also, is it possible to not shave certain regions? Uncomfortable shaving areas stomach, brazil, and arms. What are typical costs for stomach, brazil, armpits, arms, full legs?
