Can Lumineers help crooked teeth and increase size? (Photos)

Question

I’ve been through braces twice. :( bottom row is slightly crowded but not terrible.. the top is the problem. My two eye teeth naturally go up (like a vampire) I’ve been wearing my retainer but they are never fully perfect..I would like to make my teeth bigger, and straighter I also have a very gummy smile which I hate..third is my teeth are slanted when I smile as you can see..braces twice & no one fixed that issue.should I look into lumineers? Money isn’t a problem I just want a Hollywood smile.

I would say yes, but with an asterisk.  You mentioned your bottom teeth are slightly crowded?  The success and longevity of Lumineers or any minimal/no-prep veneers partially depends on your bite and how your teeth contact particularly in the front - it's helpful to have enough room when you close so that your bottom teeth will not collide with the uppers.  I can see your slant, the edges of the top teeth go up or higher towards the gum as you go from your right side to your left.  This can be addressed, as well as reshaping the two eye teeth.  I would also recommend to consult with a Periodontist  for your gummy smile, especially on the right side to evaluate you for a "gum lift" or recontouring to make the gum levels more symmetrical.  This will also address your concern of making your teeth look bigger.  I would highly suggest for your dentist to collaborate with an expert laboratory technician and fabricate a diagnostic waxup prototype before you begin any treatment.  A waxup will not only show the final esthetic outcome, but also take into account your bite - how to make the teeth fit together in a way so that there are no interferences.  In addition, a guide can be made for the Periodontist to use to properly align the gum margins.  I know this all probably appears overwhelming, but if you're looking for a "Hollywood Smile", I believe this would be the correct, thorough approach.  Hope this helps, good luck!

I would suggest gingivoplasty (gum recontouring) with laser first to make your teeth larger and then use Lumineers to correct your slanted teeth. Yes, your smile can be corrected and enhanced with Lumineers and gum recontouring.
