Clicking in Nose 3 Weeks Post Surgery?

Hello, I had a septo-rhinoplasty with osteomisis and turbelant reduction. Since day 8 I noticed a "clicking" sound when I bend my head (like something is moving inside my nose, on top Just under nasal bone) when I went to get my cast removed (day 11) I told my surgeon. He told me it was "just swelling" after pressing hard on my nasal bone. but he did not examine the inside .it doesn't feel like swelling. Should I be worried and schedule another appointment?

I would suggest seeing your surgeon for a full evaluation and examination. This would include an Intra nasal examination. I follow my patients closely after surgery. I typically see my patients at least twice a week and then after splint removal I follow them weekly for a month and then go to a two week post operative appointment. After this, monthly appointments for a few months, until their full recovery or no questions are present. A close communication with your surgeon and their staff will keep you comfortable and worry free during this period. All questions or concerns should be brought up so the patient may go home reassured. Best regards!
