I am really ready for laser surgery if that would help but if there is a cream or mixture of creams that I could use -being diabetic then I would like to try that first. HELP! I've seen dermatologist who have recommended and prescribed creams & rs mixture creams (too expensive for insurance) I've tried Ambi and Nadanola. I bump into things and sore comes/heals and then I'm left with ugly brown spots on my legs. HELP!
I am an African American women with diabetes with brown spots on my legs.

Fractional laser and Melarase PM for dark leg scars
I would suggest a combination of fractional laser, Melarase PM, Plato's Scar Serum, and Melapads.
Thank you for posting your question. There are many options for treating dark spots. Hydroquinone bleaching cream can help lightening them. IPL intensive pulse light treatments can also help lightening scars and making them less noticeable. As of now, I recommend putting on sunscreen and avoiding sunlight exposure to reduce further hyperpigmentation. Best of luck.
Happy to Help!
It's hard to answer this without pictures. You need a combination approach by a well trained physician. I suggest seeing an expert in lasers and chemical peels. Lasers, peels, microneedling/PRP, and skin lightening may give improvement. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer.
