Is it too late to get a refinement after ordering my retainers?

Finished my last tray in my moderate package last month. I wasn’t sure about the results as one of my upper canines stoped tracking & I felt like it affected the movement of the lateral incisor next to it. Doctor said it looked great & he wouldn’t change anything. He said I should sit with it & I’ll probably realize I’m being hypercritical. So he ordered my vivera retainers. A month later I am more unhappy than I was then. Is it too late for a refinement? Also my retainers don’t seem to fit?
