Why do I only get keloid scars in certain places? Should I refrain from getting more piercings / tattoos in the future? (photos)

I have 3 piercings on each ear, 2 of which are cartilage piercings. My rook is doing fine, my ear lobe piercings are fine, but my tragus has developed keloid tissue. I have had two moles removed on my back, one of which became a keloid scar. I have had no issues with any other scars. Why do I only develop keloids in certain places? Is it because those have been my deepest scars? Should I be worried about future piercings or tattoos?

Treating scars in Santa Monica

Our office is the premier scar treatment center in the region and we would begin with topical therapy (Plato's Scar Serum) followed by an intense laser and IIT protocol to improve the scar. I would discourage future cosmetic mole removal treatments.
