Fat grafting 2 weeks ago: Long time Retin-A user.

Question

I am a long time user of retin A, I use it mainly to control my acne and clogged pores. 12 days out from fat transfer to the face and I see my pores getting clogged again, shd I go back to retin A? Would it increase swelling and would too much prolonged swelling jeopardize the end results of fat transfer? If I squeeze pimples and blackheads would it also affect fat take? Thanks!

12 days out from a fat grafting procedure, the use of Retin-A should not affect the results of the fat grafting, especially in a long time user. Squeezing pimples could affect the results of the fat grafting to the face. The pressure and trauma could harm or even prevent the survival of the grafted fat. After 30 60 days you should be in the clear but you need to be extra careful for the first 60 days.
