Fat grafting 2 weeks ago: Long time Retin-A user.

I am a long time user of retin A, I use it mainly to control my acne and clogged pores. 12 days out from fat transfer to the face and I see my pores getting clogged again, shd I go back to retin A? Would it increase swelling and would too much prolonged swelling jeopardize the end results of fat transfer? If I squeeze pimples and blackheads would it also affect fat take? Thanks!

I recommend that you go to a higher strength daily management and I refer you to 3 different products with varying strength, classified as "Level I", "Level 2" and "Level 3" (see link below).The "Level 3" product RR Retinoid Complex may be best for your daily maintenance regimen.

You can use a very gentle retinoid product and stop as recommended a week before. Try a gentle mild retinoid called Replenish Daily Retinoid Cream ("Level 1") developed by a Los Angeles Plastic Surgeon and Skin Specialist (not me). You should also use a product called Bruise Balm by Plato's ...

I prefer more gentle retinoid creams like Retinoid Repair RR cream and its use with Elevase Moisture Booster for deep moisturization and hydration and wide spectrum sun block (SPF 50+) to prevent sun damage and irritation, esp in a place like sunny Los Angeles. See link below. ...
