I strongly advise against use of dermaroller by patients themselves. It predisposes you to infection because of lack of hygiene maintenance. The procedure does not serve any purpose because the amount of dermaroller required for scalp needs deep penetration causing bleeding which is usually painful and thus cannot be performed by the patient himself in the right manner.
