I am considering the Plasma Pen Treatment but am trying to research extensively about it.

I recommend fillers to soften the nasolabial folds themselves and also lift around the mouth and cheeks to build underlying anatomical support. In our practice we combine Sculptra with other fillers "layered" on top and lasers, skin tightening treatments such as Thermage, Fractora, and Renuvion (J Plasma), thread lifting,  and peels to get the most conservative, natural look. Yes, plasma pen is very good at treating lines wherever they are on the face. It does not remove deep folds, however.

Plasma pen can be an excellent correction treatment for the nasolabial folds and marionette lines. A photo would help to determine how many treatments you may need for an optimal result. Also if you are a darker skin type plasma pen may exclude you from treatment. There are many factors that help determine whether or not a person may be a good candidate. Done properly plasma pen is a precise treatment tool that can be used alone or as part of a combined treatment program. If you decide to have the treatment take care not to disrupt the pinpoint crusts as this may lead to scarring/discoloration. Find a certified provider in a medical facility for plasma pen treatment.

Plasma Pen is a great treatment for fine lines and wrinkles, as well as crow's feet and glabellar lines. However without seeing you or examining you, I cannot say whether you would benefit from Plasma Pen to the nasolabial folds or marionette lines. Please see a trained plastic surgeon for evaluation.
