Do I need a crown for my chipped tooth? (Photo)

I've had a chip on my front left tooth for years, since the 90s in fact, but my dentist keeps pushing me to get a crown on the tooth which I cannot afford. I've had tho chip repaired about 3 times but it usually holds up for about 5-10 years, depending. Do I really need a crown?

Crown or Not

You definitely do not need a crown for this tooth from what I can see on the photo. A properly bonded composite restoration should hold up well over time.

Crown for Chipped Tooth

Your image is not cleared so I am not able to properly see your chipped tooth but still if you are fine with your chipped tooth then no need of crown.
