When would would be the best amount of time to wait to get a tattoo get a tattoo? (photos)

So I got a Breast reduction mammoplasty about two weeks about ( 11 days exactly ) and really want to get a tattoo on my back but I'm not sure how long I should wait. I know obviously not anytime too soon or even within this month, but I would like to get some opinions. I definitely do not want to do anything that would put myself in danger or infections or anything like that! Please be honest, I don't want to be stupid! I will also run his by my docter but I don't want to look crazy

Getting a tattoo after a breast reduction

It's always best to check on your surgeon's protocol. I tell my patients that two weeks is the minimum adequate healing time after breast reduction surgery. Reduction involves only removal of your own tissues and no breast implants. I advise my breast implant patients to wait a little longer – 6 weeks. For more information on this and similar topics, I recommend a plastic surgery Q&A book like "The Scoop On Breasts: A Plastic Surgeon Busts the Myths."  good luck
