Breast Lump after Lift with Augmentation

This is a rather large size for a lump and I would be concerned about a hematoma, walled off seroma, or large area of fat necrosis.    Please have your plastic surgeon evaluate you and work this up.

Lump after a breast lift / augmentation

If you are noticing a lump after a breast lift and augmentation there are several possible causes, hematoma, seroma, muscle spasm, fat necrosis, fold of the implant or abscess.  You should  be examined by your surgeon to diagnose this problem

This could represent tissue necrosis or a hematoma. It could also be fluid. Have your PS check it out.

In the early postoperative course, a hematoma should be ruled out by your surgeon with an exam.

A photo would help.

This could be a hematoma, a collection of blood in the tissues. A call to your surgeon for evaluation before the weekend is in order. All the best.
