Juvederm and Swelling

the property of this filler IS to swell.  It holds water.  Voluma and radiesse hold much less water and area alternatives.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Juvederm and swelling

There is no need to add anything including saline into the injections to reduce the swelling.  The type and amount of filler chosen will effect how your lips will look with the product.  Please consult an expert.  Best, Dr. Green

Filler and swelling

Water is not added to fillers.  Fillers often pull in water as they degrade to maintain the same look as when initially injected.

Juvederm Ultra Plus. Is there a need to add saline to the filler to achieve less swelling?

No, juvederm products all come ready to inject in a pre filled syringe and should not be altered. I'd be very concerned that someone trying to sell
diluted Juvederm is ripping you off. Make sure you see a board certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist for your injections. Best of luck!
