2 wks post semi perm makeup. Got infection and took antibiotics. Infection is gone but it’s still red, will it heal? (photos)

Hi I had semi perm make up done on my eyebrows almost 2 weeks ago I was very unhappy & I aggravated the area by scratching it. I ended up with an infection and took a course of antibiotics. Infection has now gone and the area has gone down from what it was however it’s still red/pink and outline is there will it shrink? And will my colour return to normal I’m really self conscious as it’s on my face. Pictures attached to show how it was and how it is now.

The brows should be cleaned. With dry healing the brows are kept dry for the first 2 days, day 3 you wash and apply aquaphor 2x a day for 7-10 days but the area still needs to be cleansed.Follow your artists post care instructions. If you have signs of infection follow up with your PCP.Best,

Hi MollyMoo123, Most of the ink you're seeing is superficial; and it's normally darker and thicker days after microneedling. Please do not try to wash it off at this point. Allow your "wound" to heal and go for a touch-up 6 weeks after microneedlingAll the best,Justin Harper, M.D.
