Will working my butt out (weights:lunges leg press etc) help my butt grow after bbl or will it actually kill the fat?

I'm not ready to start working it yet but when I am I want to make sure I'm not killing the fat. Also, when is it okay to start lifting weights after bbl and lipo? It was my first one. Thank you
