My first molar (tooth 3- first molar on right side) has dropped approximately 2-3mm in the past 7 years due to the removal of it's opposing tooth. I'm currently in the process of getting a dental implant, and am currently wondering if this minor molar intrusion should be fixed or is it fine the way it is? The tooth has had some sensitivity in the past, and I don't think the root is exposed. I'm just not sure if my bite will be affected due to the imbalances?
