I did 0.5 ml of SkinVive in my lips. My injector said this would be the best to give me a natural look, since other fillers are very thick and may be too much for my lips. However, after the treatment, I had lumps in my upper lip that did not go away. We removed it and she said because of the structure of my lips, using thicker filler would look unnatural and my lips would not take to them well. Is it just possible that my lips can't hold filler? I have an image for reference in my profile

Answer: Is it possible that my lips are not suitable for filler? (photo)
Hello there Cat,
Seek an expert physician injector and your SkinVive nodules will be safely dissolved. It only takes a minimal amount of hyaluronidase to take care of the nodules. Good luck and be well.

Hello Jane. It sounds like you may have hemosiderin staining. This is a condition present often after bad bruising (see link). To treat it we use q-switched lasers.
Nice posted post injection upper lip photo. Use of HA type fillers 'off label' though very common must be pre injection discussed... The Skin Vive will not change the appearance much since it is a skin stimulator NOT a filler. Expect it to dissolve with in few weeks. Best to ask why this was used.
