Prolapse and vaginapump
Doctor Answers 1
What does a vagina pump do to prolapse?
Not much. Applying a suction pump to the vaginal opening will put traction on the external structures and cause swelling. Prolapse occurs from damage to the pelvic supports deeper inside the vaginal canal beyond the reach of pumps. However, if you've recently had surgery, applying a pump may weaken the scar.
