I did not know I was pregnant at the time of surgery, however a pregnancy test was taken. I do not know the results but assuming if it read positive I would have been told. I miscarried about 2 1/2 weeks after surgery. Based on my hormone levels I was around 9 weeks pregnant. Is there a relationship between the general anesthesia or the surgery that would have caused this?? I would think the test taken by the office would have shown up positive at this point.

Thank you for your question. It is much better to accurately discuss implant volume and projection with an in office exam and detailed measurements. In order to make an accurate size recommendation, I would need to assess your chest wall and breast mound measurements/characteristics. I use these...
Sizing for implant cases can be challenging, partially because patients don't always know exactly what they are looking for or have a hard time expressing it, and because bra sizes are nonuniform. Weight loss may reduce breast size slightly (perhaps a half-cup size per 20 lb body weight loss,...
Discuss this with your surgeon. In general, this could be a result of the breast ducts not functioning properly. This condition usually settles over time. Best wishes!
