Alternative Methods Of Breast Augmentation

{{ voteCount >= 0 ? '+' + (voteCount + 1) : (voteCount + 1) }}

The size of a woman's breasts can affect self esteem, self confidence, self image, sexuality and how clothes fit. For these reasons, many women are motivated to have larger breasts. Unfortunately, many are unable to undergo breast augmentation with breast implants for a variety of reasons. They may be afraid of anesthesia and surgery, or they may not have the financial resources.

For these women, breast enhancement with creams and pills may be an attractive alternative. Unfortunately, there's no scientific proof that they actually work. In many cases, it's unclear what the active ingredients are and how they work, if they work at all. Some of the components may be hormonally active and potentially have side effects that could be harmful.

For these reasons, we feel that breast augmentation with implants is the only alternative that can significantly increase breast size. Before considering breast enhancing creams and pills, you should consult your physician.

Breast Augmentation Creams

There are no exercises, injections, supplements, foods, or creams that will noticeably increase breast volume or lift the breast. Most often, implants are used to augment the breasts of patients with good skin quality who lack breast volume. For patients with both a lack of volume and sagging breasts, a combination of a breast lift and augmentation (mastopexy augmentation) can address both issues. A detailed examination will help delineate the best surgical treatment. Consultation with a surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery would be the next best step.

Breast Augmentation is the Only Treatment That Works

Currently, there is no product like this on the market that truly works. If there was, every plastic surgeon on the planet would produce and market their own version. From time to time we meet women at our clinic who are interested in a breast augmentation procedure but are not suitable for surgery. We would love to offer these patients a non-surgical alternative, but it would have to be completely safe, reliable and effective. That just doesn't exist yet.

Not really

At the moment there is no clinically proven safe and effective method of breast enhancement except for surgical breast augmentation. Creams, pills, and medications are not FDA approved and their safety is questionable.

As of this writing there is no FDA approved cream or pill to enlarge the breast. Breast implants are well studied, FDA approved, and have a long track record. Best to see a board certified plastic surgeon for answers to your individual questions.

Cream Enhancement of Breasts

There are no creams or lotions that enhance the size of breasts. There are however, many advertisements claiming that creams and lotions will enhance the size of a woman's breasts. If you desire a very minimal breast enhancement you may consider the Brava Bra system or fat augmentation using your own body fat.

Good luck, and remember to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon before making any decision.

Dear Army Wife,

Thank you for your post.  Although there are a lot of internet scams out there wanting to separate you from your money, there are no lotions that work for this.  Otherwise nearly every young woman with small breasts would be using this.  Treatements such as the Brava system have shown modest breast volume enhancements, but require you to use the system 10 hours a night every night for many months and the system itself if fairly expensive.  Fat grafting is another option, but this tends to be more expensive than implants and usually requires multiple sessions.  Implants are the most reliable way to go.

Best wishes,

There are no known creams or lotions that will make the breasts larger.  This is an age old problem that continues to entice women with the hope of gaining breast size without surgery.

Breast Enhancing Lotions

There are no lotions that work to enhance the breasts. If you're wanting a more "natural" approach to enhancing your breasts, you may want to consider using fat to augment your breasts.

Breast enhancement lotions?

There is no such thing as a breast enhancing lotion.  Breasts will become larger  with weight gain, puberty, and implants.
