Question about recovery timeline and returning to a job where I am on computer all day

I have my PRK procedure scheduled for Friday. I am getting nervous about the recovery period described by others here and on Reddit. I already planned to take Mon-Wed off from work the following week, and take it easy (light meetings) on Thurs and Friday. I work a job that requires me to be on the computer all day -- should I reschedule to a time I can take 2 weeks off? Any guidance would be helpful
