Laser hair allergic reaction or something else? I've had 2 sessions of laser hair removal. (Photos)

I have to agree that it looks like folliculitis which is very common with Laser Hair Removal. But it could be an allergic reaction to the numbing agent used if one was used .If you used any type of lotion right after treatment that could of broke you out too. I regularly use a prescription strength steroid cream post treatment like Triamcinolone cream to help prevent itching, redness and irritation. If you do not have access to that then try taking an antihistamine like Claritin or Zyrtec and use over the counter hydrocortisone cream 2 times a day for 1 week. If it does not resolve you should see a Dermatologist.

it could just be a prolonged follicular reaction or irritant dermatitis. The other possibility is a reaction to any topical anesthetic they may have used. Occasionally we will also see this type of reaction and topical hydrocortisone and Benadryl at night can help symptoms. It can last for a week to 10 days but usually goes away
