So, the first time I had the same reaction but it was a week after I had a reaction. I had my 2nd session yesterday and by night I had the following reaction. My GP said it was foliculitis the first time but after the course of antibiotics it never went so I doubt it is that. Can someone help what else I should do to relieve the itchy feelings.

For the best results you should try and stay on every 4-6 weeks for upper body and 8-10 weeks for lower body. If you take a break it can take longer to get great results as you will be missing the next growth cycle.
To answer your question, yes you are allowed to wear makeup. As far as shaving the area, you may want to hold off on that to lower the chances of added irritation or inflammation of the skin that may interfere with your treatment. Consult with your Doctor on the next visit. Wishing you the best.
